VEEDERCREST WINES GARNER FOUR AWARDS AT 2014 AMERICAN FINE WINE COMPETITION
Results of the 2014 American Fine Wine Competition (AWFC) were announced Friday, January 31, 2014 at a reception hosted by The Preiser Key at Cole’s Chophouse, Napa, California, and concurrently by simulcast by AFWC President and Co Founder Shari Gherman at the Florida International University School of Hospitality, Miami. The AFWC is unique in that winery participants may only participate by invitation resulting in a prescreening of all participants.
For the fourth year in a row Veedercrest was invited to participate in this prestigious competition. As in all prior years all Veedercrest wines submitted for evaluation receive Double Gold, Gold and Silver medals. Veedercrest is proud to announce the following awards from the 7th Annual American Fine Wine Competition:
- 2008 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon – Double Gold
- 2007 Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon – Gold Medal
- 2008 St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon – Silver Medal
- 2007 Napa Valley Zinfandel – Silver Medal
