Introducing Ron Fenolio owner/founder and now blogger of Veedercrest Estates

We have started this blog to be able to share with you many things which are passions.  These things include food, wine, and travel, especially travel to Italy and the Mediterranean countries and the foods of Italy and the Mediterranean countries.  Wines can be experienced from many areas of the world.  These are primarily Argentina, Chile, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia in the southern hemisphere, and Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Greece, Hungary, Canada and the United States in the Northern Hemisphere.  There is such a wealth of information available that we could write a blog daily for the rest of our lives and never finish covering all the information, whether it be about great wines we have experienced, great food we have experienced, or wonderful places we have visited and loved.

We are also passionate about our wines.  Veedercrest was started in 1972 (see our web page for our history). It was one of the pioneering wineries of the Napa Valley.  It was selected to be a participant in the infamous Judgment of Paris.  We still strive to make wines in the same style.  We also import wonderful wines from Italy and Portugal.

We hope through this blog to be able to share many of these wonderful experiences with you, whether it be about wine, food, or travel.  We will share tasting experiences with wines, foods we have eaten, recipes you may wish to prepare, and the thrill of sites you may wish to visit.  We hope you will enjoy the blog and wish to share it with many of your friends.
